Back In Stock (Notify Me) Overview

Never Miss a Sale: Leverage "Back In Stock (Notify Me)" to Retain Customers and Boost Revenue



The "Back In Stock (Notify Me)" feature helps you capture missed sales by letting customers sign up for restock alerts on sold-out products. It's perfect for shoppers who prefer to wait rather than pre-order, and it gives you valuable insights into demand while keeping potential buyers engaged until inventory returns.

Adding Products



To add products to the Back In Stock list, go to PRODUCTS > ADD PRODUCT.


Select the item(s) you want to add to Back In Stock, including specific variants if needed. You can select multiple products at once.


Upon selecting your items, click "PROCEED." This will take you to the Pre-order settings page. To use only the Back In Stock notification feature, disable the pre-order option and select the "Back In Stock" tab.

You can use the Back In Stock feature alongside Pre-order to give customers the choice between placing a pre-order or signing up for a restock notification. Just enable both options during setup to display both buttons.

Back In Stock Settings



To use the Back In Stock feature, first enable it in the settings, then set a Back In Stock Threshold—the minimum inventory level that will trigger subscriber notifications. For example, if the threshold is set to 10, a restock of only 7 units won’t send any emails.

Make sure to click Save to apply your changes. Once saved, the feature is active.


Back In Stock Subscriptions



You can easily find all your Back In Stock subscribers by heading to Back In Stock in the app menu. It’s a great way to keep track of demand and re-engage eager customers!


Exporting Your Subscriber List



Need to use your Back In Stock subscriber data in another email marketing platform? Just follow these steps:
Click the Export CSV button.
Choose your desired time frame.
A CSV file will be sent to the email address associated with your store.
