Getting Started with Timesact: Installation and Setup
Welcome to Timesact! Our app helps you manage product availability with powerful features, including:
- Pre-order: Allow customers to purchase items before they are in stock.
- Back in Stock (Notify Me, Waitlist): Collect email addresses and notify customers when products are restocked.
- In Stock: Highlight items that are currently available.
- Coming Soon: Display a preview button for upcoming products to build anticipation and generate interest.
Follow the steps below to install Timesact Pre-order, a Shopify app for pre-orders that includes back-in-stock notifications and coming-soon features. The installation process is straightforward:
Step 1 – Getting Started: Find Timesact in the Shopify App Store
Access the app directly by using this link.
Alternatively, you can simply search for 'Timesact' directly in the Shopify App Store.
Step 2 – Click “Install” to Begin Setup
Step 3 – Review the required permissions and click “Install” to continue.
On the next screen, Shopify will display the required permissions that you must grant to the app for it to function correctly.
To complete the installation process, tap the "Install" button.
Once the installation is complete, Timesact will open automatically and be ready to use.
If you navigate away, you can return to the app at any time by selecting "Apps" in your Shopify admin and then choosing "Timesact Pre-order."
Enabling the Timesact App Block in Your Shopify Store
The Timesact app block allows the app to modify your product pages so that its features are displayed correctly. Enabling this block is simple and essential for the app to function as intended.
After installing the app, you will land on the Dashboard page, where you will find the Setup Steps guide. The first step is to enable App Block One.
You will see a button to verify the step, along with another button to enable the block. Click the "Enable" button to proceed.
On the next screen, click the "Save" button located in the top right corner. We automatically set the toggle to true, but the app block will not be enabled until you click "Save."
Alternatively, you can enable the block by going to “Online Store” in your Shopify admin and clicking the “Customize” button on your current theme.
Next, click on the "App Embeds" tab located in the top-left corner.
If someone on your team disables the app block for any reason, the app will prompt you to re-enable it. You can do this from the Dashboard, where the first step in the Setup Steps guide will appear as unresolved.
