How to add a Coming Soon button to your Shopify store
When you launch an upcoming product, it's great to tease the product on social media to build hype for the day it drops. Equally significant is the option to signal to customers in your store that the product will soon be available for purchase. Here is how you can add a coming soon option to your Shopify store in just a few simple steps.
Use this link to install the app, or just search for Timesact on the Shopify app store like this:

Activating this step ensures that the Timesact app can update your store's pages as needed. Without this, the app’s settings won’t apply correctly, so please be sure it’s enabled. Remember to click "Save" in the top-right corner. When you select "Enable," we automatically switch it on.

You also have a reminder in the app dashboard setup steps in case you ever need to do this step again later.

Go to the Products tab in the app's left-hand navigation and the Coming Soon tab.

Tap the Add Products button in the Products tab in the top right corner.

In the next screen, you can select by individual product variant, collection, product tag, or vendor attributes.

When you have what you need selected in the top right corner, tap the Next/Add button.

Or, if your product is towards the bottom of the page, hit the Next/Add button on the bottom right corner instead.

First, disable the Preorder option (it is the default, and you cannot have both options at the same time for the same variant product):

Next, see the possible settings from the Preorder tab to the Coming Soon tab. Make sure to enable the Coming Soon option for the settings to take effect:

In the next screen, you can enable a start date and an end date for your coming soon campaign. These settings might be relevant if you can stick to a timeline, but they are not mandatory, so you can have an indefinite launch date that you adjust manually when the time is right. If that's you, feel free to ignore these settings.

Here, you can choose an existing template, like the global default template already created when you install the app, or one you have previously created in the Settings - Templates tab.

Alternatively, you can create a custom template in the Settings - Templates tab. Once you've done this, return to the products tab to add products and select the template you've created.

On a Coming Soon product template, you can set a: 1. Button (customize the button to match your Shopify store theme), 2. Message (you can announce your launch date or preorder date launch, for example, or at least a relative time frame like Early 2027). Here, you also have the option to use a countdown timer, which can be very effective for building hype. 3. Badge (product page & collection page for the product images).

Remember to check the look and feel of your product pages to ensure they are ready for your customers. You can navigate to the page with the active settings in question or use the eye icon in the Products tab on the right end of every line item.
