Tag Automation
Need a faster way to set up features for multiple products? Tag Automation has you covered.
With this tool, you can link a Shopify product tag to a specific set of Timesact features like Pre-order or Back In Stock. Once you add that tag to a product in Shopify, the settings you saved will apply automatically. No need to configure each product one by one.
How It Works
Create a Tag in the App
Choose a unique tag name and decide which features you want to enable. For example, you might turn on both Pre-order and Back In Stock. Once saved, this tag is ready to use again and again.
The screenshot below shows a setup where both Pre-order and Back In Stock are enabled.
Once you are done with your preferred setup, save the Tag.
You’ll be able to quickly see which features are assigned to each tag from the list view.
Tag Your Products in Shopify
Go to your Shopify product admin and apply the tag you created. Once you save the product, the features linked to the tag will be applied.
Products added through Tag Automation will show up in the app with an "AUTO TAGGED" label, so you’ll know at a glance which ones were set up automatically.
A Few Things to Know
- Each product should only have one Tag Automation tag at a time.
- You can create multiple tags with different feature combinations.
If your products are still not showing up, try the following:
- Make sure any previous product listing in the app (manual or tag-based) has been removed.
- Reapply the tag in the Shopify product admin. Remove the tag first, then add it back.
- Reach out to Support if you need further assistance.
