Understanding Timesact Badge Display

Timesact product badges are powerful visual cues designed to instantly communicate product status; whether it’s “Preorder,” “Back in Stock,” or “Sold Out.” These small labels don’t just inform customers; they help create urgency, set clear expectations, and spotlight key product conditions. By using badges strategically, you can boost engagement, reduce hesitation, and ultimately increase conversions across your store.

Getting Started with Your Badges

Setting Them Up

Open the Timesact app.
Go to Settings → View Templates.

Select the template for the feature you want to enable (Preorder, Back in Stock, Coming Soon, In Stock).
Click Edit Template and click the Badge tab to configure.

Scroll down to the bottom to enable it on the product/collections page, then hit Save.

Default Template (Controls Storewide Display)

The Default Template determines badge visibility on:

The Collections Page
The Product Detail Page (PDP)

Whenever the Default Template is active, its badge settings apply globally.

Custom Templates (PDP-Only Control)

Custom Templates apply only to the PDP.

Important: The Collections Page always follows the Default Template, even if a Custom Template is active.

Visibility Rules for the Collections Page

“All Variants Active” Requirement

For a badge to show on the Collections Page:

All product variants must be added to Timesact
All variants must be active for the feature

If even one variant is inactive or not added, the badge will not appear on the Collections Page.
